Is Design Dashboard a competitor to xsitepro?

Ever since Marlon Sanders released Design dashboard I have had plenty of questions from news subscribers about it.

What is Design Dashboard?

A: Design Dashboard is NOT software. Design dashboard is a .....Dashboard. Huh? I here you say. Ok "DD" by Marlon Sanders is a web based tutorial/educational resource. You log in to a membership style portal where you have a "dashboard" awaiting.

Once you log into design dashboard, you can choose which section you wish to work on. It is like a paint by number system of building a website.

Is Design Dashboard something I would use instead of xsitepro?

Marlon Sanders actually recommends a software program by evrsoft called "First Page". I have a copy of First Page, which you can download in (trial version). I use it to edit HTML emails from time to time. It seems easy to use for that purpose.

 Marlon then proceeds to offer videos and screen shot instructions on how to build (attractive) websites using this software.

Can I use Design Dashboard with xsitepro?

Yes, did you notice the blue triangle like this  in front of the headline for this page? That was my first "import" of Design Dashboard material into my xsitepro. Now I have put it in plenty of them - I just love it!

SEO - I have not seen a word of it mentioned in the Design Dashboard product yet. You would need to add all your own SEO to the first page software generated pages. (In fact even the main page could do with a bit of a tune up :)

Simplicity - I still think building websites does not get easier than using xsitepro.

Affiliate management  - is a handy xsitepro feature.

Should you buy Design Dash instead of xsitepro?

I wouldn't. There is no way you can generate websites with the speed and seo capability of xsitepro using a resource such as Design Dashboard alone. If you are an internet marketer or online business person - xsitepro will be a great asset for you.

If you want just one pretty website, and you want to learn more about SEO and manage your own affiliate management - then you would only need Design Dashboard.
